Hello, my name is Nihal!

I was born and raised in Unawatuna/Sri Lanka - it's my home.

The ocean has always been my life - and fishing my passion.

The Indian Ocean is incredibly beautiful, interesting and rich of impressions - that's what I would like to share with people from all around the world!

Deep Sea Fishing

Deep Sea Fishing is a professional fishing tour operator located in Unawatuna beach in Galle.

Our team has more than 30 years of experience and that's why we promise you a deep sea fishing experience unlike any other!

No matter if it's your first deep sea fishing trip or you have already got experience - we will make it the best of your life!

We strictly use professional fishing equipment and accessories - suitable for salt water -
according to the IGFA (International Gamefish Association)

Our Deep sea fishing spot:

First reef approx. 3 km from the coast - depth 3 to 10 meters

Second reef, approx. 8 km to 10 km from the coast - depth 20 to 25 meters

Third reef approx. 20 km from the coast - depth at 100, 200 meters and more

For all fishing tours a maximum of 3 people per boat-trip.

We use local built fishing boats, specifically designed for professional deep sea fishing:

19 ft long 25 hp Yamaha outboard engine, sun roof, compass, GPS fish locator, safety life vests,
first aid kits and emergency sea lights.

Our Deep Sea Fishing Tours are guided by the captain and his assistant who speak either English and/or German.

Morning Tour:

The morning tour starts at 6 am.

Fishing spot will be chosen according to your preferences.

Back in Unawatuna around 9 am.

Afternoon Tour:

The afternoon tour starts at 3 pm - back in Unawatuna around 6pm.

Full-day-tour:

By special arrangements.

Discovery Tour

Your private driver will take you around in a state-of-the-art, comfortable and spacious mini-van.

During your multiple day discovery tour you'll be staying at selected locally inspired hotels.
